Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Weaner steers moved quietly through yards as a mob provided it was done at a slow pace. Under pressure they behaved like typical weaners with a tendency to move a bit faster. Handled well through the force and race if not over pressured. Low stress stock handling techniques are showing good results in yards. These steers are expected to settle even further whilst being fed and handled in the yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, presented is a great opportunity to purchase 3 decks of very good quality, well handled flatback crossbred steers. There are 86 Ultrablack's and 30 Charolais cross steers. These steers would be ideal to put into a fresh paddock or on a crop. They are nice soft steers and show plenty of bone depth of barrel and muscling. Given the opportunity these steers would grow into the ideal item for entry weight to the feedlot for a domestic spec or to carry through to heavier export feeder entry weights or right through to bullocks. One steer presented with pink eye in one eye and will be treated twice before delivery.
