A Very good run of 102 Quality Vendor Bred Angus x Angus feeder steers to come off the renowned hills of the Walcha district. Steers are bred from a breeding program of 25 years that are a base of New England genetics including Wattle Top, Glenavon and Bridge water Angus. Steers present in perfect feeder condition and are primed for the feedlot as they offer good compensatory weight gains as they are all frame. Steers show plenty of stretch and bone with capacity and thickness to match to handle a short or long fed program. A run of 102 have been selected with a tail taken out, all steers weighed in tight weight bracket from 400 to 468 kg full at assessment. A great opportunity to secure a line of good quality angus feeders to suit all markets.
