Steers handled very well through the yards, all worked quietly and calmly with no fuss. small percentage became slightly agitated during mouthing but settled almost instantly once released from the headbail. Exceptional temperament and education, these steers have been given an excellent foundation and have been set up properly to continue on into heavy feeders and slaughter steers.

A very tidy line of Angus Cross steers. Purchased as weaners from Longreach/Muttaburra districts last year carrying Genetics from Texas, Ardrossan, Booroomooka, Outwest and Bulliac Angus, Forest Park Santas and Fairview and Lancaster Black Simmentals. Small percentage of higher content steers through the mob still considered flatback types with a cleaner coat and slight crest. 100% blacks with a small percentage of the Santa Cross type steers showing some red colouring through the saddle and 2 x steers with some white on their neck/underline. All steers are HGP Free and where purchased as vendor bred steers and should be lifetime traceable with only one movement to current property recorded. A very tidy weight range from with 100% weighed from 400 to 500 kg with the vast majority between 430 and 480kg, 17 steers 400-429kgs, 78 steers 430-479kgs and 9 steer 480-500kgs (full weights at assessment). 50% of the mob mouthed being mainly milk tooth with 6 just cracking 2 tooth. Exceptional temperament and education these steers are set up for the future, ideal feeder Steers ready to continue their journey. Pre-treated for buyer convenience and offered as $per head on farm or delivered on farm and weighed over scales hughenden if buyer prefers.
