Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were generally good to handle throughout the yards and crush. 10 head became agitated while waiting to get into the crush, then would not settle and then exited the crush quickly. As a mob they did tend to move together quickly and could rush a little. However nothing is agressive, they just have some movement in them in the yards and race.

Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus and Angus x steers. With medium to large frame, they show good weight for age and are ideal to background to heavy export feeder weights. They have been yard weaned and have had a full vaccination program including their first Bovilus MH + IBR (vacc details avail post sale). They are by good quality Tex, Raff and Bald Blair Angus bulls selected on a combination of growth, marbling and caracse values. Four steers noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye - not considered detrimental. One steer was cut several days prior to assesment and aside from some swelling in the purse is not noticeable. These steers are normally grown out for the export feeder market and are only being sold due to the season. The Angus x steers have some Shorthorn influence in the cows and just show some white on the underline in front of the pizzle or scurrs. All steers would suit a feedlot progam that takes Angus x Angus and Angus X steers.
