The heifers were very good to handle in and through the yards. Two became slightly stirry when standing in the crush but settled when returning to the mob.

Assessor Comments
A line of vendor bred good quality well-grown F1 heifers out of well bred Angus cows and sired by top quality registered Trent Bridge and Strathdale Wagyu bulls. These heifers have been doing well since weaning in March but with a tightening season are entering the market early. These heifers along with the other line in the sale consist of the full heifer drop, none are being retained. They weighed between 275kg and 405kg at assessment and have an estimated average weight of 285.4kg at delivery. All but 2 of the heifers are 7-9 months of age, with the remaining 2 out of season heifers around 13 months old.
Vendor also has a lighter line of heifers and all the brothers to these heifers in this sale.
Note: Photos and videos were taken of 94 head. The extra 15 making this line up to 109 were added from the heavier end (the 15 were 275 -284kg) of the light heifer line after the photos.
