AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE HGP FREE 112 CROSS BRED STEERS. A GOOD LINE OF 4 DECKS OF BLACK SIMMENTAL CROSS & CROSSBRED STEERS READY TO FEED ON GRASS OR GRAIN. THE SIMENTAL CROSS PORTION ARE SIRED BY WOONALLEE SIMMENTAL BULLS THESE STEERS WOULD MAKE FOR IDEAL 100 DAY ANIMALS. THE REMAINING STEERS ARE BY DROUGHTMASTER, CHARBRAY, SENEPOL & BRAHMAN BULLS. IT WAS NOTED AT ASSESSMENT THAT 9 STEERS HAD A SLIGHT TO MEDIUM HUMP & 6 STEERS HAD A DEFINED HUMP WITH THE REMAINDER HAVING NO HUMP SHOWING. THESE STEERS HAVE HAD ALL THE HARD WORK DONE & COME WITH SOME COMPENSATORY WEIGHT GAIN ON OFFER. THEY SHOW GOOD WEIGHT FOR AGE, CARRYING GOOD BONE, EVEN MUSCLING & GOOD FRAME. DRAFTED INTO A NEAT LINE THEY PRESENT WITH TIDY HEADS AND WERE A PLEASURE TO WORK THROUGH THE YARD. THEY WEIGHED FROM 343KG TO 491KG & AVERAGED 413KG AT ASSESSMENT AFTER 30 HOURS OFF FEED. PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS ON FARM 40KM NORTH OF MUTTABURRA. THE VENDOR ALSO HAS ANOTHER 4 DECK LOT OF FEEDER STEERS IN THE SALE.
