Steers have an excellent temperament, which was well noted through the weighing process and handling through the yards. Easy moving and quiet in nature. This is a credit to the vendor, for spending the time to educate these steers in the yards and in the paddock.

Buyers - 114 Good quality line of Angus composite Organic certified, EU, USDA & GAP certified steers. Vendor bred, #6's, fully weaned, weights 230kgs - 318kgs avg 250kgs. These steers have responded extremely well to weaning education and are well handled. They are clean and tidy around the head with strong emphasis on poll genetics & black angus traits, with room for compensatory gain to be had. Vendor would usually retain these steers & grow out to heavier kill weights, however due to the seasonal conditions these steers are up for grabs. Steers have avg 293kgs dressed at 28 month of age, grass finished. This is a good run of market ready EU, USDA, GAP Cert. organic steers suitable to be taken through to heavier organic kill weights, domestic or export.
