118 vendor bred predominately Droughtmaster weaned heifers that had an average weight at assessment of 139.2kg after a -5% curfew. Heifers have been weaned early due to the dry conditions and been on a maintenance ration being fed daily. They are healthy and moving forward. Craigie station cattle are very well bred and are renowned for their performance and would normally be retained as breeders or taken on to feeders or slaughter. Please note; Small tail was removed at assessment. 3 heifers were dehorned on 14/7 and are still healing. Brother lot in same sale.
