Considering the weaners had only come off their mothers two days before assessment, they handled quite well. They were free flowing throughout the yards, pound, race & crush. They had a adequate bubble for pressure considering fresh weaners. Vendor will work them through the yards prior to delivery and I do believe they well settle well and not be an issue.

A rare opportunity presents itself for astute cattlemen or women with this run of EU, GRASSFED ELIGIBLE, HGP & ANTIBOTIC FREE SANTA GERTRUDIS STEERS. The Hatton Family have been breeding Santa Gertrudis for over 30 years and they present this line of weaner steers to the market. This is the first time in over 10 years that the vendor has presented a run of weaner steers, they are normally kept to heavy feeders or finished by the vendor. These steers display ample bone, length and confirmation and they have a solid reputation for being soft, easy doing grass or grain finished bullocks. The steers have a live weight range of 208kg to 300kg with a delivery weight of 261kg. With decades of quality Santa Gertrudis genetics these steers will perform anywhere and present in healthy store condition, they have been yard weaned and are ready to be tailed out and perform. Vendor has another 4 decks in same sale. WILL NOT DISAPPOINT
