Assessor Comments
An excellent run of weaned Angus steers out of the renowned Hazeldean commercial herd. This lot represents the complete drop of weaner steers from Hazeldean Springdale (tail removed) and are being offered to the open market for the first time in many years due to tight season. Steers have come through weaning process well and are starting to pick up, looking fresh and healthy. Steers are highly sought after, noted for the doing-ability, quiet nature and all the Hazeldean key breeding objectives.
Please note: Odd steer picked up pink eye shortly before weaning and look to have all healed up but still showing blue eye scarring (not detrimental). 9 steers with slight white on flank.
Hazeldean have 160 steers and 105 heifers in todays sale over 4 lots (2 Adelong properties)
