Assessor Comments
An excellent line of 125 x Sep/ Oct 2024 Drop Poll Hereford Heifers. Bred in the renowned Okeview program at Winderadeen, Collector. The heifers are sired by leading Poll Hereford bulls from Cascade, Bowen and Tycolah. This group of 250 x heifers includes calves that would normally be retained. Season alone dictates their sale. The heifers are yard weaned and have recently had their booster 5 in 1, B12, Cydectin Platinum and Multimin Evolution. Well educated weaners, the heifers are bred from a very good herd of large framed, soft easy doing Poll Hereford matrons. These heifers would be suitable for breeding, feedlots or the trade. Generally considered to be the younger calves in the drop, they present in fresh condition having been weaned and are in excellent shape to take advantage of a backgrounding program. A tail was removed at assessment. Buyers please note: Okeview will offer 250 x heifers in today’s sale.
