Heifers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob. Considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperament

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of the Wansey Downs Vendor bred weaned heifers. Heifers showing good bone, depth and length and exceptional weight for age due to the British, Euro /Bos Indicus cross. Bred from Large framed Hereford and Hereford /Santa /Charolais cross cows by Santa and Hereford these heifers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Heifers are ideally suited to go on feed for Woolworths domestic trade as drafted in to 310-395 kg weight range. Could also take through to lucrative Pasture Fed Slaughter programs having never had antibiotics or grain or alternatively have the quality & feminine characteristics to join as future breeders. Please note a couple of heifers observed with slight blue blight scarring in one eye ,Heifers described with horns are only small weaner horn well inside ear .Vendor has 3 decks of brothers in this sale
