Heifers reasonably fast in most areas of the yards. There are ring leaders considered stirry in the bigger yards that has a detrimental impact on the balance. Yards were very wet with plenty of strangers present when assessed and the vendor mentioned it was out of character to their normal behaviour. Yard design is also not conducive to handling cattle in a quiet manner. Broken in and hand fed with hay from a buggy so easy to handle in the paddock. Odd one could become aggressive if isolated.

A small lot of F1 Angus/Brahman and Black Limousin/Brahman cross heifers to suit a backgrounder to take up to heavier weights for entry into feedlots for the domestic market. Also display enough quality to attract restockers to secure heifers to grow out and use for further breeding purposes. These were removed a line of 35 predominantly black heifers being offered in another lot that can go with these if required. Buyers in tick free areas please be aware these are guaranteed clear of the ticks.

Delivery is on farm for all buyers. If these remain in a tick area they can be collected from Friday onwards. If heading to a tick free area they will require a clean scratch and dip at Silverdale. These are guaranteed clear of the ticks.

Intending buyers be advised Elders terms are strictly CBD unless the debt can be accepted by a nominated agency or an approved Elders account is in place.
Movement Restrict.
In a tick area. These will have two pre-treatments by delivery in preparation for entry to tick free areas. Will require a plunge dip at Silverdale at purchasers expense. If they don’t clear vendor will pay feed and additional dip costs. [Please note: It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to satisfy all state compliances in regard to the movement of this lot.]
