Assessor Comments
Buyers, good quality Angus heifers bred from females purchased out of the New England area that present in mainly store condition. The heifers are very quiet; the vendor’s always do an excellent job throughout the weaning process and is reflected in these. I will suggest these will fly ahead if they get access to better feed conditions especially on heavier black scrub soil country with improved pastures or crop. I would envisage these are just the younger heifers out of the drop but they don’t appear to have suffered any health setbacks. All the hard work is done; they are well and truly over the weaning process, not a sound coming out of them, so they are not stressed by being weaned recently. Ideal to put with their sisters and let them catch up in weight.
