Assessor Comments
Buyers, a line of good to very good quality Crossbred weaner steers available that will suit most grassfed orders (NO GRAIN & NO ANTIBIOTICS). They show good growth and weight for age considering they are only 5-9 months old. They stand on good bone, especially the Euro cross steers with plenty of muscling. These are suitable for restockers to background up to heavier export feedlot entry weights. There looks to be a few that appear to be Droughtmasters but there are no Droughtmaster bulls on the property. Must be by Santa bulls out of high-grade Droughtmaster cows. Have been very well weaned and are super quiet to handle so I think they would hit the ground running if they are exposed to fresh improved pastures on heavier black soil country. They have presented in excellent health and don’t look to have suffered any setbacks at any stage of their life to date. A bit of a spread in weights but I tried to keep them in a truck lot. Buyer will require a 4-deck unit for these steers.
