Very quiet heifers, typical of bucket reared calves. The cattle were very relaxed when drafting and processing, there was 1 heifer that was a little anxious on the scales. Once back with the other animals this animal was calm.

The TD Hicks & DA Sagrera partnership offer a small consignment of Senepol x Jersey heifers. The heifers are out of registered Jersey cows by AI Senepol sire, and are surplus to requirement. Vendor bred, weaned and grass assured, these heifers would suit a backgrounding or a breeding enterprise. Typical of bucket reared calves these heifers have an excellent temperament, they are patient and gentle and would be excellent breeding stock. Vendor has a herd of excellent quality registered Jersey cows, of which a portion were insemination with SNV Coliseum 3115A E.T. Coliseum is an ALTA Genetics owned Senepol bull that has a reputation for strong confirmation, soundness with a very balanced spread of growth and maternal numbers. Please Note: Vendor will offer an additional lot in this sale - the steer portion of the Jersey x Senepol bred cattle.
