These cattle handled through the yards well. Some heifers became agitated when they were isolated and during the pregtest process. Once they were returned to the cooler and back on water they were easy to move around and presented quietly while taking photos and videos.

Assessor Comments
140 very good quality vendor bred Santa heifers that have not been joined and are pregnancy tested empty. Part of an annual turn off of surplus heifers that are out of an exceptional herd of annually classed Santa Gertrudis cows. These heifers present in forward and forward store condition and are very well grown for their age. All the hard work is done with these heifers as they have had all the handling and vaccinations. Heifers are ready to grow or join to a bull of your choice. These heifers are sired by Strathmore and Cardona Santa Gertrudis bulls. The Chandler family have been investing significantly into their sire selection for over 20 years and the results are showing in both the performance of the breeder herd and the performance of their steers. The successful purchaser of these heifers will have the opportunity to access some very good quality young females. Please note these heifers have not yet had any access to bulls.

Delivery Comments
Yards are 800m off the bitumen and is black soil access to the ramp.
