A rare opportunity from Scotts Angus: 152 weaned, EU Accredited, vendor-bred Scotts Angus blood steers, with all the hard work already done. They have the genetics to back them up, with 1.4kg ADG reflecting strong performance, and have been drenched, vaccinated and had trucking experience. Bred with an emphasis on docility, growth, marbling, and genuine “doing ability,” this is clearly reflected in their presentation, particularly considering paddock conditions and feed availability. Usually sold as feeders to the same repeat buyer, seasonal conditions have created the opportunity for these steers to be offered to the open market, presenting a genuine chance for your competition. These steers have been yard weaned and educated, handled daily for four days, and have now been let out into the paddock, ready to power ahead on good feed.

Emphasis is placed on docility, growth, marbling and “doing ability”. Being sold early due to seasonal conditions but daily weight gain since birth and “freshness” now under such tough conditions shows their ability to perform.
