Assessor Comments
A genuine front paddock article that would compliment most herds. They have not had a setback are losing their winter coat and are not overdone. These heifers were a pleasure to handle through the yards and it is notable they have been extensively handled. Genetically bred by large framed (600-800kg cows) quality Reiland and Hazeldean bld Angus dams and sired by a Reiland and a Bongongo bull. They are carrying years of genetic investment and are the result of a meticulous classing program. The quality of the genetics used and the strict selection criteria for replacement heifers is evident in the temperament and growth of the weaners annually. The top 10 heifers were retained out of the drop on weight only with these being the balance. Due to receiving constant human interaction from birth these calves are naturally settled and calm and are suitable for all operations. Please note brothers also being offered in today’s sale. These heifers come with my highest recommendation.
