Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Rotationally grazed and extensively handled out in the paddock, even coming when called. Some nervousness in the yards at times, mainly triggered by a couple of steers with bigger flight zones, but all still very quiet and easy to handle, and all with a good block. Brought up by a single handler without hassles, very quiet in the crush, all bar 2 not even moving a muscle once on the scales. All exiting at a walk, wandering back to the mob and chewing their cud.

Assessor Comments
The Jeffcott family steers are renowned doing cattle that are sought after annually by repeat bullock producers, often being purchased straight out of the paddock, and regularly by in-house clients. Extensive genetic improvements has been put in to the Jeffcott herd over the years to ultimately produce a fast growing, early maturing bullock with good muscle & softness. Chasing those Bulls with the high 400/600DW & positive growth figures. These long barrelled, deep, baby bullocks will have no trouble hitting early optimum weights. Well weaned, and very well paddock educated, coming when called, and often waiting at the gate to be let in to the next paddock. Steers with plenty of frame that will pack on the weight if you show them some Autumn pastures!
