Steers were put out in a large group in May and have not been handled since. Overall the whole group handled very well throughout assessment. Easy to draft a single animal out of mob in a laneway. Some did have more push in the race than others. Only 1 steer showed any serious nervousness right at the end of the assessment. Was fine when completing media.

A very even line of EU accredited Rennylea & Dunoon blood yearling steers. Aug/Sept 2025 drop. Ideal steers to turnout and utilise the upcoming spring. Lightweight steers with plenty of the right genetics that have performed incredibly well through winter on an annual ryegrass pasture. Weighed into a tight 243-299kg (full) weight bracket, these 11–12-month steers have plenty of potential. Tail enders, eyes, faults removed at assessment. The Hanna Pastoral cattle regularly enjoy support from repeat buyers. EU, Grass Fed & Greenhams Never Ever Accredited.
