20 quality mixed sex feeder calves, presenting an excellent opportunity to secure a well bred line of feeder cattle with proven performance and strong growth potential. Predominantly sired by Challambi Charolais bulls, with a percentage by a Cascade blood Angus sire, these calves are bred from a productive Angus and Angus/ Hereford/Limousin cross cow herd, combining maternal strength with muscle, growth and carcase performance.
At assessment, the calves averaged 383.3kg (5% curfew). They are 100% grass fed and Never Ever Accredited, making them an attractive option for buyers targeting premium grass fed markets. Currently grazing a mix of improved pastures, oats and silage rolls, they have had an outstanding nutritional start and are expected to continue performing, making them ideal feeders for a late spring turn off.
