A well-presented line of 22 Angus heifers, purchased earlier in the year along with other lines to take advantage of the good winter feed. The heifers have done well since arriving, present evenly as a group and have been performing well on grazing wheat. At assessment, the heifers were all individually weighed, ranging from 206-333kg full, with an average of 256kg. In good store condition and showing good frame, with the right nutrition this spring these heifers should suit a backgrounding operation for a quick turnaround into the feeder market.
