A predominantly quiet and well-mannered line of heifers that flow easily through the yards and handle well on foot, with vehicles, and dogs. This uniform line of 23 vendor-bred Black Angus backgrounder heifers presents in an ideal store to forward-store condition, displaying excellent breed character with good deep bone, depth, and a stretchy, long-framed conformation. At 10 to 12 months of age and averaging 290.8 kg full liveweight, these heifers are sired by Binnowee Angus bulls which have been strictly selected for superior temperament and strong growth performance. They have been running on highly productive, improved pastures and possess the frame and maternal traits to continue developing into quality medium-to-large framed mature females. These quiet, well-managed heifers offer great versatility, making them highly suitable for backgrounding, feed crops, or as future breeders. A small tail-end has been removed prior to assessment for buyer confidence, and buyers should note the vendor has an additional line of similar quality heifers entered in this sale.
