Steers were well behaved throughout assessment. All came through the race quietly, a few pushing forward as they got closer to the crush. But all exited the crush well and settled immediately back in the yards with their brothers, a couple considered a bit anxious in the crush, looking for a way out. A breeze to walk amongst in the yards, very settled and quiet, all wandered out a blocked up easily for photos/videos, then quietly walked back in to the yards on foot. A real credit to the vendor

Assessor Comments
The Clarke family are renowned fourth generation cattle producers in the Upper Murray and have been using select Reiland Angus genetics in their herd for the last 25 years. Always selecting Bulls with desired traits, focusing on high growth, being 400 & 600 DW, & strong carcass qualities, particularly positive Fat, IMF & EMA. These healthy young steers stand up with good length, depth and width, with a proper traditional Angus head. Out of a large framed herd of heavily classed cows, & always sought after by repeat buyers & in-house clients for their reputation for performing in the feedlot & export markets, always having excellent growth for age and hitting specs with ease. An excellent lot of steers that carry the genetics & reputation to make an ideal investment. Please also take note of the temperament of these young cattle. Exceptional to handle throughout all aspects of the assessment. Buyers please Note. Vendor has the heavier brothers and a line of sisters in the same sale.
