Steers handle very nicely through the yards and up the race. Just about all stood calmly in the crush and exited smoothly. One steer was just nervous in and exiting the crush. Generally they were a pleasure to work with.

Assessor Comments
A mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Shorthorn steers. These are the younger of the steers in the sale and were yard weaned in September 2025. They are medium to mostly large framed steers that suit to background to domestic and then onto export feeder weights. They have not had access to grain and would be eligible for grass finished programs. They were assessed as 36% very good quality, 57% good quality and two fair quality steers that just lacking a little frame and muscling. These steers have been going along well but the season is starting to turn. They had a LWR of 220 - 354 kg with their heavier brothers also listed in this sale. Please note agent can complete NLIS transfer at no charge at the buyers request. These steers were very good to handle in and through the yards. They are nice and fresh in the coat and will continue to move forward with access to good quality feed.
