These animals behaved reasonably well during the assessment with only a small proportion being slightly agitated in the crush during weighing. In my opinion their temperament is nothing to worry about and with a little bit more handling over the coming months I am sure they will be a pleasure to handle.

Shrublands Estate Angus are offering their Autumn drop heifers for sale which creates an opportunity for a commercial breeder to purchase females jam packed full of genetics. Shrublands Estate have been breeding Angus cattle for many years utilizing some of the world's best genetics and these females are no exception. Displaying a fantastic phenotype with a soft fleshy coat and a heavily muscled deep body structure these future matrons are very appealing to the eye. The recent introduction of the "Beastmode" genetics have really provided a strong robust animal and if you're looking to purchase joinable heifers for a future breeding program than look no further. There are a large proportion of these females that are progeny via their HBR registered breeding program that were surplus to their requirements allowing commercial breeders to take full advantage of the genetic input.
