Assessor Comments
A tidy run of (red) Angus X steer weaners . Bred by Rosedale Angus Composite bulls out of a composite Hereford based cow herd. Calves were weaned at assessment. Koommorang has been in a tight pinch through summer and these calves are carrying minimal condition but have plenty of frame and retain great potential to kick on shown the right feed environment. There has been a run pink eye through the herd over the last month or so which has infected a number of calves. There remains active pink eye at this time but all eyes have been treated. Should not be detrimental. No full white eyes and no cattle with two eyes afflicted. Calves presenting in light condition but as said early present with heaps of potential. Previous drops have been excellent performers no reason why these calves wont repeat that past history. If your looking for light weight weaners these are worth a close look. Note : another two lots of steers (blx and lighter mixed calves) and one lot of red heifers being offered
