These are well educated steers that were fine to handle throughout the assessment. Odd steer became agitated whilst on scales or on its own but was fine once back with the mob.

Big stretchy steers that are well grown & ready to power on and fill out for their purchaser. The Lieschke's have always selected top end sires from both the Sprys Shorthorn & Scotts Angus program to continually strive to breed the best commercial cattle they can. Sires are selected for carcass, growth, structural soundness and good temperament. These steers are well educated & were yard weaned in March. These steers have been running on a grazing crop on lease country & after assessment have been walked home for better trucking access, now running on fresh improved pasture. They have the foundations laid to be ideally suited to continue to perform, growing & gaining weight. Tail draft removed at assessment, Highly recommended
