Heifers good to handle in paddock, yards and through drafting pound. Odd heifer did get slightly agitated when isolated during weighing & assessing, once let go into mob appeared settled. Weaners in this mob will further settle this week whilst being fed and handled in yards.

A quality 1 deck line of predominantly Santa & Angus cross heifers. Heifers mostly exhibit good length, bone, shape and have sound feet. Ideal to background for heavy feeder / slaughter markets or retain a draft for future breeding purposes. 16 heifers weaned from 18/6-22/6, balance are purchased heifers weaned last year. Heifers are shiny in the coat and should continue to go forward given favourable conditions. 7 heaviest mouthed - 6 x milk & 1 x 2 tooth. 3 family brands / earmarks included. 1 heifer showing slight crest (hump). 18 red, 15 black & 1 brindle in mob. 11 white markings on face/body. 4 heifers 4”-5” horn.
