These heifers were easy to handle, flowed through the yards and over the scales with no fuss. Only a couple of heifers stirred slightly on scales and settled very quickly when they rejoined their mates. Overall very well educated.

Assessor Comments
This is a very classy lot of 35 Angus heifers. These heifers would normally be kept as replacements. However due to the worsening local season the difficult decision has been made to offer them for sale. They are bred out of a large frame Angus cow herd that is culled heavily on fertility and confirmation. All sired by Stud Angus bulls including Knowla, Naracoorte and Sugar Loaf. Heifers present in fresh condition, exhibit plenty of shape and length with good bone. They will suit a wide range of buyers - Domestic markets or heavier export markets. Ideally they should grow into and make wonderful future breeders. Really dual purpose heifers - Breed or Feed. Antibiotic Free and Vendor Bred.
