A nice line of vendor bred EU accredited weaned Steers. These Steers exhibit good breed quality, plenty of bone, and tremendous weight for age. These Steers are well bred with a long history of Glenavon Angus genetics deep in their bloodlines, with the addition of Knowla Angus bulls being added to the breeding program in recent years. This is the annual drop of Weaner Steers produced at Maryland that would normally be sold locally to an annual repeat buyer. Due to local dry conditions these quality Steers are being offered to the market. These Steers are currently being yard weaned at Maryland ready for delivery. Maryland has focused on high 600 - day weight growth figures, sound structure and docility when selecting sires for their program. Buyers, please note that a 18% tail has been removed and not offered in this lot. This is the genuine top of the 2025 drop Steer calves at Maryland.
