Excellent cattle to handle, and very respectful of the vendors good working dogs. Good also to handle in the yards, 3 heifers stirred up slightly during the weighing process, but settled as soon as they were back with the mob. Well educated cattle, that are are credit to the vendors management and handling.

Assessor Comments
A very smart line of vendor bred angus heifers. These heifers are from a Dunoon blood herd with sires also used from Rennylea, Ardrossan & Rossrich Studs, with high growth & IMF a key focus for bull selection. These heifers are soft and thick, they have very good bone and are a credit to the Nicholls family. The steers from this herd have been sold on APlus as weaners or held and grown out to feeder weights that have been sold into high end Angus feeder programs including Rangers Valley & Whyalla feedlots. The Nicholls herd is a noted doing, high performance Angus herd. Heifers that blooming with a recorded weight gain of 1 Kg per day over the last month. These heifers are cycling and are setting up excellently for joining to the purchasers bull of choice. Highly Recommended.
