Assessor Comments
A mostly good to very good quality line of EU accredited Wagyu x Angus steers showing good growth for age. They are mostly medium to large frame with one steer smaller frame. The steers would suit to backgrounder for the F1export feeder market. Approximately half the steers are out of Booroomooka & Texas Angus blood cows, the other half are out of Booragul blood Angus females purchased from Koobah at Nundle. The steers are sired by one of two Wagyu bulls, 'Sunland Itomiya Q1427' and 'Sunland Ehatsuta Q1091'. Q1427 is sired by 'IMUFQTF148 Itoshigenami' and Q1091 is sired by 'KKWFE0010 Kuro Kin Shikikan E10'. Breed document and EBV's attached. They are grass market eligible in that they have not been fed grain and have not been treated with antibiotics. Please note, the 37 sisters of the steers are also in the same auction.
