Temperament not assessed in Paddock
All heifers up until weaning had minimal handling. They were a pleasure to handle and assess and for their second time in the yards they were easily handled. They will be handled through the yards and tailed out daily up until delivery with a strict weaning/education program in place. Temperament is a key factor in selecting new Genetics throughout the CELAMBA herd. The odd heifer become slightly stirry when pressured when returned to mob returned to calm state. Excellent Temperament.

Assessor Comments
Buyers on offer is a chance to acquire a fantastic line of Speckle & Speckle infused heifers coming from one of the leading Speckle Park Studs in Queensland. These heifers come out of a renowned Speckle, Angus & Angus cross commercial cow herd. They were born in a tough end to 2024, since being put on Luecaena with cows in February the weight gain in the calves has been unbelievable. These heifers show great shape and muscle expression at an early age and will grow out to a lovely line of breeders. The CELAMBA cattle traditionally sold into Domestic trade markets with a large percentage of offspring being sold as Grassfed beef through the CELAMBA BEEF label. They are only being sold to make room for the 2025 Celamba Speckle Park Sale Bulls. The vendor would be interested in buying back the grass finished product in time to time. Great line of Heifers that are ideal to breed or feed.
