Heifers were very good to handle and have been through the crush multiple times during weaning. Very easy to handle without any obvious run in them. Easy to draft individual animals out of the mob in a round yard. Some did have more push in the race than others.

A very even line of EU accredited Rennylea & Dunoon blood weaned backgrounder heifers. Aug/Sept 2025 drop. Lightweight store condition heifers in a very tight weight group (165-190kg) ready to go on and bounce ahead given an opportunity. Heifers have been drenched and are pulling ahead on good feed. Pinkeye was an issue at weaning with a large number of animals requiring treatment. A fair percentage of these heifers still show various signs/scars that are improving all the time. Great care has been taken to remove any with active pinkeye or severe scars. Tail removed. EU, Never Ever accredited.
