Assessor Comments
55 Angus Steers with loads of compensatory gain, the win in these steers cannot be understated. 80% of theses steers are 1 mark purchased off A+ in May, the balance being a mix of Vendor Bred and locally purchased steers. These steers have been on the road in North Queensland for the winter before being trucked directly to Laroca or via Hermidale on an oats crop there. All steers drafted to meet feedlot entry Angus Specifications or have the frame and growth to suit Angus Export Markets. All mouthed milk teeth & 6 x 2 teeth. 1 steer with plenty of warts on his neck and face (see photos) with a few others with very light occurence on face, both NDD. Current ADG is 1.2kg but these steers are only just hitting there straps and in my opinion on a continued upward plain of nutrition you will not recognise these cattle by Xmas. The temperament of these cattle will see them go home & go straight to work. Located on the main road just outside of Tamworth towards Gunnedah making transportation very convenient.
