Cattle were generally good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Seven head became slightly agitated in the crush with three heifer highly agitated. Most settled when back in the yards together. Four heifers did not like being isolated. The rest were quiet when being photographed, but tended to move quickly as a mob in the yards.

A line of good to very good quality PTE feeder heifers. With medium to large frame these heifers suit to take directly onto feed and finish for a range of domestic or light export slaughter markets. Heifers range from a British composite through to flatback heifers that carry upto 50% Bos Indicus content. Please see video and photos for best breed description. They are a mix of vendor bred and mostly purchased heifers that have been confined and fed a barley based backgrounding mix since 04/08/26. The heifers were preg tested and mouthed on 31/08/2026 as part of a larger mob of heifers. They are all 100% NDP and three week ago there was 51 x milk tooths and 5 x 2 tooths. Note two heifers with slight blue eye in one eye and one heifer with scarring in both eyes, not seen as detrimental. Heifers had a tight LWR of 380kg - 453 kg and are moving ahead nicely. Please note delivery period due to prior vendor committments.
