Assessor Comments
2025 Spring Drop Steers The Baxter Agricultural Company herd is a widely regarded Angus herd in the region, renowned for producing quality high performance Angus cattle. These steers are sired by high-indexing Dunoon and Lawson Angus bulls and are bred to perform exceptionally well across a range of environments. All steers have been yard-weaned and well handled. Steers are best described as large frame presenting in fresh store condition. Please note: five steers have slight pinkeye scarring in one eye only. These steers offer an excellent opportunity to capitalise on compensatory weight gain as spring feed becomes available. With their combination of weight, frame and age, they are well suited to backgrounding as feeders or taking through to domestic or export processing weights.
