Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle were generally good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Eight head became slightly agitated in the crush with one heifer highly agitated. All settled when back in the yards together. One heifer did not like being isolated but the the rest were quiet when being photographed but would tend to move quickly as a mob when being walked around the yards.

Assessor Comments
A line of good to very good quality feeder heifers. With medium to large frame heifers these heifers suit to take directly onto feed for a range of domestic slaughter markets. A portion would suit a softer style slaughter market while the balance are a flatback crossbred heifer - see photos and videos. A mix of some vendor bred and mostly purchased heifers that have been confined and fed a barley based backgrounding mix since 20/06/2026 (past 30 days). When they were bought into the pens on the 20/06/2026 they were scanned as NDP and were mouthed. They were mostly milk tooths (46) and 11 x 2 tooths 30 days ago. They have a LWR of 332kg - 425 kg full weight and are moving ahead nicely and should go onto a full feedlot ration mix very quickly. Note 2 decks of softer crossbred heifers this sale and another 2 decks located approx 20km away.
