The slightly stirry steers in the race & crush would not settle & did run away from the crush, but did settle once back with the mob. These steers have been well handled in the paddock with dogs. The steers have a large flight zone when you first enter the yard, but if let settle do stand & have a smaller flight zone. They only require a small amount of pressure to get movement in the yards.

Buyers 58 Angus x steers that are ideal for a backgrounder to take through to heavy feeder steers, could also be grown out to export bullock weights for grass programme. Of the steers handled 17 show Bos Indicus traits but minimal crest was observed. Mouthed 3 of the heaviest steers & all were milk teeth.
