Assessor Comments
An EXCEPTIONAL line of black heifer weaners sired by Hicks bulls out of Angus cows. They are the complete drop with a small tail removed. Heifers are 10 -12 months of age and are showing very good length and muscle for their age. Weights 300 - 402kg to Ave 349kg full at assessment. These Heifers would normally be retained in the herd as future breeders, but due to excellent fertility in the herd pregtesting has not eliminated many girls to make room for these to come through. They are well grown, very quiet and would compliment any herd as future breeders or grow out to heavy feeders or kill cattle. Sired by Hicks composite bulls they are bred to perform. Bulls are selected on type, IMF, REA and early growth. They were excellent to handle in the yards and paddock while filming.
