The steers were excellent to handle in the yards. Most were very quiet through the race and crush with just four steers moderately agitated in and exiting the crush. They were nice and calm moving from one yard to the next and were very settled.

A good to mostly very good quality line of EU accredited yard weaned steers. With good bone and conformation they suit to grow to export feeder steer weights and then finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. The top end could be taken directly onto feed for the domestic market. Steers off this property have traditionally either been sold as EU feeders to major feedlots or vendor finished for high quality slaughter markets. Like most cattle, they are only being sold due to the season. This lot of steers have been drafted as the Angus and British cross steers with 2 decks of Angus steers also in this sale. They are still soft in the coat and moving ahead and will continue to move ahead with access to good feed.
