Assessor Comments
59 good quality Angus yearling heifers presenting in healthy forward store condition that had an average liveweight at assessment 314.2kg after a -5% curfew. Buyers a line of Angus heifers that would be suitable to feed or fatten on crop for the domestic and export slaughter market or would be ideal to grow out and join to the bull of your choice later in the year. Please note, heifers have light irritation around the eyes from fly but were treated with Brute at the time off assessment. 3 heifers noted to have blight scarring in one eye ranging from small dot to light blue eye. No loss of sight was observed. 2 heifers were treated in 1 eye at assessment for light pink eye infection and will be retreated at delivery if needed but will NOT be pulled out.
