Assessor Comments
62 Angus X Feeder Steers. Vendor-bred, Teys Grassland Accredited, PCAS (non-certified), MSA accredited and HGP FREE. Sired by $15K plus Texas Angus bulls out of quality Brangus, Charbray, Baldy cross cows. (One Droughtmaster steer is out of a purchased PTIC cow). These steers have been weighed a weight range of 380–532kg, av. 454kg FULL at assessment. They have been doing 0.92kg per day since mid April and are in forward store condition, displaying excellent frame, bone and shape. These cattle are well-educated and easy to handle, they were mustered and calmly worked through races and draft/crush gates by children. **Vendor offers 2 lots, all lots must be sold to deliver - if not delivery will take place the following week. Also being offered from the same property is 156 Angus X Steers and 78 Xbred Coloured Steers. With numbers and weight shortage these steers are ready for the southern feedlots.
