The steers were good to handle in the race & crush. Three head were unsettled in the crush and exited quickly. They all settled down in the yards and remained quiet for photos/videos

Assessor Comments
A mostly good to very good quality line of vendor bred EU steers. With medium to large frame they suit to background to the top end of the export feeder steer market. They are also soft enough to take directly onto feed for the heavier end of the domestic market. Three steers noted with slight blue eye spot in one eye. Steers are mainly red, yellow or black flatback composites, from a composite cow herd sired by mostly Angus, Gelbvieh & Gelbvieh x bulls. Steers have been grazing native & improved pasture in Leucaena paddocks since weaning in June 2025. Steers have not had access to grain or cotton seed and are EU accredited. Please note these cattle are in the tick free zone and a clear to travel of all areas.
