Assessor Comments
A great line of Shorthorn and Simmental/shorthorn x steers, averaging 400 kg on a curfewed basis. These steers are very heavy weight for age, and are of a very quiet nature. They were yard weaned in mid January, and have been in a paddock of their own since. They are EU accredited, as well as MSA. They also qualify for grass fed status, having never been fed grain in their They will present as good medium to large frames for their age, and are generally in strong forward store condition. Nalpa is a deregistered Shorthorn and Simmental stud, running a closed herd, and still producing their own bulls , along stud principles, for their own use. The shorthorn side of the stud has a large Spry influence, while the Simmental section is based on Woonalee origins. The Dams are pure Nalpa blood cows. These steers would be ideal for a feedlot operation. Nalpa will also offer a line of Simmental/Shorthorn x heifers in this sale as well. Put the two lots together and make a b-double.
