Steers have had handling through the yards and flowed well. A few steers were slightly agitated during assessment when put under pressure and traveling through the race and in the crush but settled nicely once back with the mob. These steers have been mustered with bikes and vehicles and have had some exposure to dog around the yards and laneway leading into the yards but have not been mustered using dogs.

Assessor Comments
A tremendous two deck line of 65 top quality, vendor bred Angus steers. These steers have already been weaned and are only going forward. These steers were a treat to work with showing a naturally quiet temperament coupled with good handling during weaning. They were weaned two weeks ago spending just under a week in the yards and have been back in the paddock since. They show excellent bone, structure and length. They are in forward store condition with plenty of depth and softness. They are ideal backgrounder steers, they would suit the domestic trade market or to be kept onto heavier weights to go into feedlots or to be grown out as grass-fed bullocks. The vendor regularly keeps a small line of steers and heifers to put on oats and each year they show tremendous, easy doing ability. Burenda Angus bloodlines. Proven performance. Buyers note the vendor has another one deck lot of the heavier end of these steers in this sale should you wish to make up a neat three deck line.
