Assessor Comments
A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus steers. They were yard weaned onto a Barley, Oaten hay & soybean meal ration in May and have been grazing a good quality oats crop since August up until assessment. Steers will be kept in a holding yard with access to good quality oaten hay up until delivery. Approx 2/3 of steers were given one dose of Coopers MH Single - Shot RTU and 1/3 of mob given one dose of Zoetis Bovi - Shield MH - One, in June. They are by quality Lawson, Hazeldean & Mooroobie Angus bulls with a focus on selecting above breed average 600 Day and IMF EBV's. Please note that this line was split up after photos & videos were taken, some steers in photos & video have been moved to the heavier mob in this sale. Located 5km south of Moonie, yards 500m in off the Leichhardt Highway. Steers to be offered as c/kg live and $/head, please note weighing instructions & special conditions of sale.
