Performance cattle first time ever offered as weaners as always retained to fatten in the Spring as heavy weighted kill steers in to the Coles Graze program. These boys are bred out of lengthy volume cows utilising sires purchased out of the very top end of the Spry Angus & Shorthorn catalogue as well as AI by Temania Rustler R300. Steers are properly weaned, present in fresh store condition and will explode once shown some quality feed. Excellent cattle to handle temperament wise as is the norm with the Killandayle program. Steers are based out of an Angus and Angus/Shorthorn breeding base with this group all black in the coat, noted 6 steers with a light blue fleck on the face or coat. Killalea's are previous winners of The Coles Farmer of the Year award and have been breeders/finishers of quality finished cattle for decades. Noted an odd ringworm scar on the face of a handful of weaners. Note vendor has another 16 steers being offered in this sale taken out purely on color.
